What is Footgolf?

Footgolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. The game is played with a regulation soccer ball at a golf course facility on shortened holes with 21-inch diameter cups. The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf. Fox Hills is an accredited course by the AFGL.

Where is Footgolf played? When can I play?

Footgolf is played on the Strategic Fox Course, located on the right after you pull onto the property. Any age from 3-100 is welcome. You can make a tee time online at foxhills.com or by calling our main number. 1 tee time is needed for every 4 players. Play is available dawn to dusk. Please respect the rules described on the scorecard.

What is the attire?

A collared shirt and non-denim pants or shorts are preferred. Either indoor soccer shoes or tennis shoes can be worn. Cleats are prohibited. If you wish to dress in true footgolf AFGL tournament attire then a collared shirt, shorts, knee high argyle socks and a flat cap is worn.

Can I bring my own ball, food & beverages?

Yes you can bring your own soccer ball or you may rent one from the strategic fox clubhouse for $5. Outside food and beverages are prohibited either in the clubhouse or on the golf course. Food and beverages are available at the Clubhouse.

Do you host Tournaments & Outings?

Yes we do events throughout the season that you can participate in. Check out golf events on our website. You can also follow us on twitter, facebook and instagram for upcoming events @foxhillsgolf. We also host footgolf outings for fundraising, team building, birthdays and any event you would like to celebrate with some footgolf fun!  Groups of 32 or more? Please call Audrey Woodmansee at 734.927.1030. Less then 32 guests? You can reserve tee times up to 2 weeks in advance online or by calling the proshop at 734.453.7272.

Getting around the Course & Costs

You may walk or golf carts are available to rent. You must have a valid driver's license to drive a cart. It takes about 1.5 hours to play 9 holes and 3 hours to play 18 holes.
