Golf Course Overview
Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center has something to offer for every golfer. Three different courses, each with its own unique clubhouse, allow players of all ability levels to select their favorite course for the day. In addition to its 63-holes of golf, Fox Hills offers golfers a complete practice facility including 2 driving ranges. Golfers looking for instruction can take advantage of the Learning Center. A full complement of food and beverage is available at the grilles of each clubhouse. Group outings for up to 500 persons can be arranged by our competent sales staff.
Fox Hills is proud to be a Certified Audubon Sanctuary golf course providing the best in course conditions while being dedicated to the care and preservation of the environment. We provide nest boxes for Eastern Bluebirds, plant diverse species to attract wildlife and conserve and preserve our water quality as part of an ongoing and continuously expanding program.

The jewel of Fox Hills is the Golden Fox, an upscale links style 18-hole championship course, designed by Arthur Hills. Reminiscent of the great Scottish seaside courses, it features prairie grasses, wetlands,
steep bunkers and large gently-undulating bent-grass greens. One of the most popular 18-hole championship courses in Southeast Michigan due to its playability, it offers variety with four sets of tees designed to suit every level of player. Although the Golden Fox is a public course, our 32,000 square foot clubhouse rivals most country clubs and offers the amenities and ambiance of a private club experience.
Fox Classic provides a fine example of traditional country club golf course design. The gently rolling hills, mature trees and small greens make it a classic treasure.
Recent renovations perfectly blend modern course design enhancements with the character and tradition of the original layout.
The original 18-hole course, designed by Wilfred Reid, was built in 1927 as the Plymouth Country Club. An additional 9 holes, designed by Jim Lipe, was constructed in 1982 to complete the 27-hole layout. The three nines are known as the Hills, the Woodlands, and the Lakes.
The Fox Classic Clubhouse features Fox Hills' original log-cabin clubhouse, dating back to 1927. The Clubhouse was renovated in 2008 and has warm inviting interiors keeping of that log cabin charm.
The Strategic Fox, designed by Ray Hearn, opened in 2001. Hearn fashioned the layout to permit the golfer to use every club in the bag on this intriguing and picturesque Par 3 course.
Quick and fun to play, the Strategic Fox is great for beginners while also providing challenges for those more experienced players interested in sharpening their short-game skills.
The interior clubhouse design welcomes all level of golfers with the relaxed theme of a rainforest cafe. Murals featuring tigers, bears, sharks and lions representative of well-known TOUR players make this a club the whole family can enjoy.
